This week’s #FridayFinds is so special because it is the sequel to a book that I just love, Honor Thy Father, Really?. I have been waiting quite sometime for Blemished Honor to be released and I am so delighted to share this book with you all. Please be sure to check this one out.
A family’s determination to stand—flaws and all…
Genre: Christian Fiction
Why?: I write Christian Fiction because I want to glorify the Giver of my gift of writing. I attempt to create characters that have experiences that people can relate to on some level, while glorifying God. In the end, the goal is for the reader to have more than just a “good read”, but to find themselves immersed in a soul-stirring experience.
Synopsis of Blemished Honor
On the rebound from family drama, the Holloways are determined to recover from previous wounds that threatened to tear them apart. Every member of the family is striving to live lives that honor God, in spite of their faults and shortcomings. While Michael and Ranya fight for reconciliation of their marriage, they’ve each got new issues to deal with—Ranya, with the entrance of Jordan, whom she has kept hidden from her family for over 20 years—and Michael, with a past that creeps up to disturb the peace he is working so hard to maintain. Meanwhile, college freshman Devin continues in his new spiritual journey and his relationship with McKenna, but struggles with insurmountable obstacles that cause him to reach his breaking point. When extreme demands jeopardize the unity of the family, the Holloways must respond with radical actions to protect themselves from further destruction.
